Theory of treatment -
'Channelizing the body towards finding its own cure' has been the guiding philosophy for Proactive for past more than 10 years. The human body is wired to correct the equilibrium of health. Anatomy of human body always fascinated Dr. Shridhar. He had a firm belief that invasive treatments being deployed by most in the industry were being used in cases where it was hardly required. Proactive team and infrastructure -

We are a team of about 4 M.D. doctors, 7 graduate doctors and we are continuously looking to both, improve the quality and knowledge of this team and increase the size of our team to serve the patients. We also have the best in category digital x-ray system, pathology laboratory, and a chemist shop exclusively set up for the Proactive patients. Proactive has always believed in power of data. We have state of the art system of patient history cataloguing through personalized bar coded patient cards.

Pain in neck, back, knees, shoulder i.e. slip discs, carpal tunnel syndrome, ligament injuries, knee degeneration etc. are the most common ailments we treat. Operations or invasive treatment is mostly suggested in these cases but we at Proactive have proven to the contrary. In our experience, the main reasons for most of these problems is lack of physical exercise, incorrect stresses being developed due to wrong posture, body vitamin deficiencies and stress or lack of mental health. We aim at curing the pain by addressing its root cause through simple exercises and dietary supplements only and avoiding the painful surgeries.

Exercises create better muscular strength, improved body metabolism and these lead to creation of endorphins. Endorphins manage pain perception and increased body strength cures the cause of pain. It rebuilds the gastric flora leading to better absorption of essential nutrients, thereby reducing diseases inducing deficiencies. Body's ability to thus cure itself prompts a feeling of wellbeing, diminishes stress triggers, betters sleep patterns, negativity is reduced and depression is managed.

Special mention required in this section is for that of Scoliosis. Scoliosis is broadly defined as abnormal lateral curvature of the spine. This leads to chronic back pain, referred pain in other joints such as elbows, knees, ankle etc. and postural deterioration. Extreme cases can lead to difficulty in breathing as the lungs can collapse due to unbalanced pressures being created. These physical aspects can lead to loss of confidence and depression in patients. We correct these Scoliosis changes by adjusting the body posture, reactivating the atrophied muscles, and helping the collapsed lungs to regain their normal size through various breathing techniques.
